- What makes IntuneHealth different from my current doctor?
-
Several things set IntuneHealth apart:
We provide a new kind of preventive care that starts with a Total Health Visit, a head-to-toe assessment that proactively identifies any health concerns.
At IntuneHealth, your doctor is a partner in your health and accountable for your well-being. They’ll get to know you.
IntuneHealth doctors have fewer patients than typical primary care doctors, so they’re able to spend more time with you and available to see you more often.
IntuneHealth offers a dedicated, personalized care team to provide support when, where, and how you need it. We offer in-person visits, virtual appointments, and 24/7 virtual care for immediate needs.
- Can I keep my current doctor or specialist?
-
When you choose IntuneHealth as your provider, your primary care physician (PCP) will be an IntuneHealth doctor. We know a great patient-doctor relationship is key to preventive care, so your IntuneHealth PCP will get to know you, manage all your care, and coordinate all of your medications and treatments so your care team is always on the same page.
You may keep your current specialists, but at IntuneHealth, we partner with a team of specialists who are available to consult with your primary care doctor. This allows your doctor to get fast answers about the best care for you, without the need for you to see another doctor, transfer your records, or wait months for an appointment.

- What is Medicare Advantage?
-
Medicare Advantage is another way to get your Medicare Part A and Part B coverage. Medicare Advantage Plans, sometimes called “Part C” or “MA Plans,” are offered by Medicare-approved private companies that must follow rules set by Medicare. Most Medicare Advantage Plans include drug coverage (Part D). Most Medicare Advantage Plans offer coverage for things Original Medicare doesn’t cover, like fitness programs (like gym memberships or discounts) and some vision, hearing, and dental services. Plans can also choose to cover even more benefits. For example, some plans may offer coverage for services like transportation to doctor visits, over-the-counter drugs, and services that promote your health and wellness. Plans can also tailor their benefit packages to offer these benefits to certain chronically-ill enrollees. These packages will provide benefits customized to treat specific conditions. Check with the plan before you enroll to see what benefits it offers, if you might qualify, and if there are any limitations. (Source: Medicare.gov)
